Bass Rental
I know how difficult it is to travel with a string bass, and how many traveling bass players are in a position to be let down by a subpar instrument. I aim to provide a link to a fun and frictionless experience on the road.Basses available for rental:
Three-quarters Juzek (high) | c. 1900 | Pirastro Evah Pirazzi
Kay (American, high) | 1962 | Lenzner Gut Strings -- A & E wound, G & D plain
German (low) | c. 1850 | Velvet Garbos |
Under certain circumstances, strings can be changed to suit the artist.
All basses are professionally set up, easy to play, and have:
· bridge adjusters
· choice of:
· Realist Pick-up
· Red-eye preamplifier
· Ehrlund acoustic pickup & preamp (my personal favorite)

· Mackie SRM450 Powered Speaker
· A.T.M. 35 Clip-on microphone

Return of Juini Booth at Pausa Art House, 19 Wadsworth Street. Despite being Friday the 13th, everyone enjoyed the show. Juini played Ed's Bass and excelled at getting the 1850 German bass to evoke the spirit of McCoy Tyner or Elvin Jones. Check out their upcoming shows at www.pausaarthouse.com
